Stan’s Letter

Dr. Stanley W. MukolweWhen the name Nokia is mentioned what comes to mind? Reliable easy-to-use phones.

We associate companies with products and services. But the bottom-line of companies is profit. Money.

What is the product of The Navigators?

What is our service?

Our product is people.

Matthew 22:37-39 describes to us what kind of people – those who love God with all their hearts, all their minds and all their souls and love others as themselves.

This is the bottom line of our ministry. We work towards that goal and God works within us to transform us to the image of Christ.

Does the name Bob Wilbraham mean anything to you?

What is the relationship be-tween Bob and Boniface Mutua?

You might ask – who is Boniface?

I met Bob in Den-ver Colorado in April 2011. He was introduced to me as the man who invested 13 years of his life in a young Danish man decades ago.

I stared in amazement at the 83 year old spiritual great great, great grand-father of Justus Makau whose life has continued to bear fruit over the years.

When Ove Tinggaard invested his life in Mutua Mahiaini in the 70s, the thought of Boniface being discipled by Makau in Machakos more than 35 years later was not on his mind.

Ove was faithful in passing onto Mutua the baton he had received from Bob.

Adams Mutonga, having received it from Mutua, kept the race going, passing it onto Chris Amulo who in turn discipled Makau. That is 7 generations!

Others have given input in the lives of people mentioned here. Some of you reading this newsletter can trace your spiritual heritage to some of these men.

Have you continued to be fruitful? The fruit of our ministry is dispersed all over the world. The majority of the fruit are Conventional Income people (CIP), like you, who earn their living through employment or business and continue to bring the light of Christ to the darkness God has assigned them.

We would love to hear your story. Some of our product work as full-time Gift Income People (GIP) serving with The Navigators. The CIP and the GIP together make The Navigators.

The strategic plan that was launched on October 15 has a generation focus to it. This includes future and preceding generations.

One of my favorite verses is

Colossians 1:28, 29 Him we proclaim, warning every-one and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me. ESV.

Our goal is to present mature men and women to Christ. The process is slow and tedious but the fruit that results keeps bearing more fruit.

In running a relay, the winning of the race is partly dependent on the speed of the runners but unless the passing on of the baton is well managed, fast runners can fail to win the race.

We must run our race in such a way as to win. We have winners all over the place. If you have grown weary of running the race or are un-sure of how to pass on the baton, we can help.

The Navigators ministry has never been move alive. Come, let’s run the race together!
