Stephanie Chebet

I am the second born in a family of four. I first heard of the Navigators while at Moi University where I was pursuing a Bachelor in Travel and Tour Operations Management. I was impressed by their deep understanding of scripture and that they did a lot of scripture memory. Later on I got an opportunity to meet some of the members of the Eldoret team; Tom and Simwa.

In January 2011 an opportunity came up for me to work with Economic Project Fund Trust (E.P.T.F). So far I am working with people in the market place. I assist in recruiting, training and follow-up of the program participants. It is an exciting experience. In addition to being exposed and enlightened on different aspects of entrepreneurship, I am also getting opportunities for discipleship.

My guiding verse is Colossians 2:6-7. The fact that I have received Christ, I yearn to know him daily and make him known. I am also challenged by 2 Timothy 2:2, to be ‘to be qualified to teach others.’

My expectations are that in the fullness of time I too will grow in the knowledge of Christ while empowering the lives of the Small and Middle Entrepreneur’s (S.M.E’s) through training, mentoring and enabling them to transform communities.
