Geoffrey & Lillian Washiali

In my first year, at the University of Nairobi, I surrendered my life to the Lord. Nine years later, I meet the Navigators at a discipleship training workshop held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi facilitated by Dr. Stanely Mukolwe, George and Judy Gomoll and a team from St. Paul’s Cathedral, Embu. Two years later, I joined the Navigators Staff training program.
Currently, Lillian and I have been invited to serve in the Kenya Leadership Team (KLT). We are also leading the Navigators Church Ministries (NCM) where we walk alongside churches and church-related institutions across different denominations in:

Small Groups Ministries where we help churches to initiate small group bible studies. Where the small groups exist, we add value through in-house tailored training.

Spiritual Maturity by helping various church groups with appropriate discipleship materials train church members on how to facilitate the growth of disciples.

Outreach by helping small groups in churches to shift from inward to outward in terms of ministry focus by helping them to develop mission expressions that suit their contexts.

Conferences where we have two major conferences per annum. The first conference is for bible study facilitators. Here participants exchange ideas and their experiences and benefit from speakers during the plenary sessions. The second is held towards the last quarter of the year and is open to anyone who is interested in facilitation of a bible study.

I work closely with the NCM Committee. The committee includes:

Mary Warinda- Nairobi Pentecostal Church (NPC), Karen
Dr. Sarah Vugigi- Ridgeways Baptist Church
GM Karanja- A.C.K St. Paul’s Cathedral, Embu
Apollo Apamo- NPC, Valley Road
Joab Amollo- A.C.K All Saints Cathedral and
Benson Otemba- Immediate former CDM leader
