David & Agiso Odhuno

We came to Botswana in May of 2005 having been commissioned as missionaries from Navigators Kenya. We have three children; Waksi who is currently in university in Johannesburg SA, Karlina is attending university in Kenya and Sila who is in form five (grade 11). One of the highlights of our time so far has been the registration of the Navigators Botswana in 2007, which freed us to perform important official functions. This led to another highlight which is the registration of our campus ministry at the University of Botswana in 2009. Other significant outreaches include high school ministry and couple’s bible studies.

Central to our highlight is the excitement of seeing several Batswana receive Christ and begin to grow. We have prayed for several years for this and are grateful to the Lord for this development. We have our first Motswana intern or trainee who has joined us for more spiritual input from February this year. It is a welcome step as we anticipate local leadership in God’s time.

A challenge we face is the lack of labourers for the work. The work among students on campus and high school is in need of labourers if we are to fast track the outreach. Please pray for us in this regard.

The words of Jeremiah have been a motivational to us; “… behold I have put my words in your mouth… to build and to plant.” Jeremiah 1:9, 10
