I was introduced to the Navigators in my final year of high school and came to Christ the following year at University. A few months after graduating in 1997, I was invited by the then Country Leader, Dennis Tongoi to do a short-term training with the Navigators in Tanzania. Later on I joined the Disciple Making Leader Training program (D.M.L.T) in Machakos and have been with the Navigators ever since. In 2000, I met Ann who was working as a doctor at the Machakos General Hospital. Two years later we got married. We have two daughters, Fanikio and Rehema.
Our primary responsibilities are to lead the Students Ministry with the Navigators Kenya, and to recruitment and train staff. We mentor young professionals in their late 20s and early 30s, giving personal help to individuals in the course of the week. I do evangelism and lead two bible studies at the University of Nairobi weekly. We also serve on the Kenya Leadership Team with the primary responsibility of supervising our younger staff, most of who are involved in the Students Ministry.
Our desire is to see ‘a vital movement of the gospel, fueled by prevailing prayer, flowing freely through relational networks and out into the nations’. We are trusting God to see ‘workers for the Kingdom next door to everywhere’.
We are motivated by: 1 Corinthians 3:10-11, Psalm 45:16, Psalm 145:3-4; 2Samuel 23:3-4. Pray for us along these verses.

National Students Leader
